The frame is made of 2mm aluminum, bent and welded together. For structural strength, two 3mm thick spars are fitted to the read side, that also provide means for attachment to a simulator setup.

The back panels are made out of 1.5mm aluminum and they fit together to the frame with either self-tapping screws or, if threads are tapped, M4 machine screws.

The metal structure, together with the back panels, is provided as seen on the pictures - bare metal. The post-machine and post-welding deburring, as well as painting, is responsibility of the  buyer. However those services can be provided as an after sale agreement, subject to additional payment. Please contact us for more information.

With the purchase of this product you will get CAD designs/drawings in Corel Draw or DXF format of all panels of the Forward overhead panel:

  • Structure
  • Back panels
  • Front panels with position of the light units
  • Texts for engraving in the Boeing style font

This product is fully compatible with other products in the DIY Forward Overhead series, please see the related products below.
