  • 32 inputs from only 3 microcontroller pins
  • Small board size
  • Four shift registers on 1 board
  • controlled with clock, data out and latch pins
  • easy to use with Mobiflight
  • Fully Assembled
  • 10K pull-up resistor on each input

The Input Shift Register board is an easy way to increase the number of inputs of a microcontroller. The input expander board is based on the Nexperia 74HC165D,653, has a total of 4 serially connected chips per board, giving 32 inputs per board.

The input shift register board is controlled by the use of three signal pins. Any device with digital input that supports serial interface can operate the shift register. Examples are Arduino boards, Arduino compatible boards, Rpi and others.

The input shift register is compatible with Mobiflight as of version 9.3. To use with Mobiflight, simply add an input shift register to your Mobiflight Module and you can use it for your inputs. Please refer to the documents in the attachment tab for datasheet, Mobiflight setup example and electrical schematics. Keep in mind that a 10K pull-up resistor is connected to each input.

Four PCB plastic standoffs with self-adhesive base are included for easy and secure placement of the board on a flat surface.
